Right On Par...
When it comes to golf that makes even the greatest
players restless with anticipation, the Scottsdale/Phoenix
area tops the leader board. With
more than 300 days of sunshine each year, no
wonder hundreds of golfers from novice to professionals
flock to the area to play on one of the
over 200 courses available. Here are a few of our
favorites:
Kirkland Lake Golf Club
Three nine-hole tracks designed by Scott Miller make
up the layout. The Acacia nine is the pride and joy
and is joined by the Ironwood and Mesquite nines.
On the grounds of the Westin Kierland Resort and
Spa, players have everything they could want and
need in a resort just steps away. Great golf, phenomenal
food, relaxing spa treatments and shopping....
enjoy!
Wildfire Golf Club
Best Golf Resorts’, it is the desert gem of Phoenix
and Scottsdale’s golf courses, offering exciting play
as well as an unparalleled Arizona getaway. Golfers
of all ages and levels can test their skills at one of
Wildfire Golf Club’s two 18-hole championship Phoenix
the amenities available here.
Talking Stick Golf Club
This course offers wide, wide, wide fairways (you
could almost land a 747 on some of them). More
than 200 bunkers come into play on the two courses
at Talking Stick and these are not your normal bunkers,
as the ones guarding the greens are very deep,
giving players a worm’s-eye view of the contours of
the green. With a new resort and casino just a driver
away, this is one to check out for plenty of afterround
and late-night entertainment options.
