In Memory of Life Member<br />
Mr John Kerr OAM<br />
Sadly the Asthma Foundation WA acknowledges the passing of Life<br />
Member Mr John Kerr OAM in June <strong>2016</strong>.<br />
John first became involved with asthma when his three-yearold<br />
daughter suffered a severe asthma attack and the doctor<br />
involved was forced to administer adrenaline in order to save<br />
her life.<br />
John sought information from the Foundation to aid his daughter<br />
manage her condition, and later became a Board Member.<br />
From 1976 to 2012 John held a number of Executive positions<br />
on the Board of the Foundation and served as its President<br />
twice.<br />
His experience with investments was of great benefit to the<br />
Foundation and John provided a lot of knowledge to the<br />
Foundation’s investment portfolio and subsequent Investment<br />
Review Committee.<br />
John was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2006 for<br />
services to the Asthma Foundation of Western Australia and<br />
the Anglican Church.<br />
The Asthma Foundation WA bids farewell to<br />
a loyal servant, a Life Member and long term<br />
friend of the Foundation.
