From the CEO<br />
It is with great pleasure that we present the 52nd <strong>Annual</strong><br />
<strong>Report</strong> of the Asthma Foundation WA.<br />
Throughout this report we hope to outline the diverse strategies<br />
and programs your Foundation has embarked on during the<br />
previous 12 months, which continue to make a difference in the<br />
lives of fellow West Australians living with asthma.<br />
Expanding AFWA’s Services<br />
During the year we commenced<br />
negotiations to expand our services into<br />
regional WA. Given the economic climate<br />
and pressure on public funding, AFWA<br />
formed a new relationship with the<br />
West Australian Country Health Services<br />
(WACHS) and the West Australian<br />
Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA)<br />
and adopted<br />
their extensive<br />
use of video<br />
conferencing.
