Decorative elements made from wood are known as decorative trims or veneer marquetry, which are limited to their range of use. Wolz Nautic offers
a new solution made from solid wood which makes it possible to produce new individualised floor surfaces with the same precision as is the case with
filigree veneer marquetry. The innovation is to have solid wood decorative elements, maximum production precision due to laser cutting method and
an intelligent expansion joint system.
The application areas are outdoors on terraces or on Yacht decks and indoors in Spa areas or other floor areas. The system is resistant to salt water
and UV.
The combination with different wood materials (e.g. teak, wenge or purple heart) together with other materials like stone and/or synthetic offers the
possibility of achieving unusual designs and creating visual highlights.
For the care and spare parts management each component is provided with an individual code by means of innovative technology. The ability to
exchange individual components is thus guaranteed in the long term. Furthermore, a useful thickness of up to 12 mm means that the decorative
surfaces can be refreshed several times over. As a result, sanding down can be performed in one pass with the teak deck sanding for example.
Using the laser technology in the production of the single parts enables Wolz Nautic to undertake filigree work right down to the tiniest detail.
Implementing slender decorative elements and designs – such as those familiar from interior fixtures – is possible thanks to the high-tech suite of
machines. Decorative floors with a size over 100 sqm can be created without problems.
The design of this product works so well because it is a system based on the depth of knowledge of maritime teak decks, and this advance in product
development allows for individualisation of the floor of outdoor/wet areas, now designers are not limited in their work with respect to the floor in
outdoor/wet areas.
