Bath Young Actor<br />
of the Year<br />
High achieving participants from the festival will be invited to<br />
take part in this prestigious event in Autumn <strong>2017</strong> and will be<br />
judged by a distinguished panel of adjudicators. Only three<br />
Candidates will be selected for each category. A cash prize will be<br />
awarded to the Junior Young Actor <strong>2017</strong> (10-13 years) and the<br />
Senior Young Actor <strong>2017</strong> (14 -18 years).<br />
Each performer will offer a Recital Programme no longer than<br />
10 minutes around an own choice theme to incorporate at least<br />
THREE elements, one of which must be an acting piece and the<br />
other two taken from the following list: Verse Speaking,<br />
Memorised Prose and Mime. The programme should include<br />
an introduction, links and a conclusion.<br />
