P41 £6.00 BEGINNERS’ PIANO TRIO
A non-competitive class aimed at providing early performing experience
for all players pre Grade 1 standard. There is no need to nominate the
piece to be played on the entry form; it can be selected nearer the time
of the Festival but remember to bring a copy for the Adjudicator
Everyone will receive a certificate of performance at the end of the session

This event includes the finals of two major awards of the Festival
THE THELMA KING INSTRUMENTAL AWARD FINAL
is an annual substantial award for high achievers in the Solo
Instrumental classes.
THE CONCERTO FINAL will feature a play off between the winners of the
Piano Concerto class, the Concerto class for Woodwind, Brass or Recorder and
the Concerto class for any Stringed Instrument.
The winner will be presented with the Premier Award of the Festival as well as a
substantial cash prize.
The evening may also include performances from the Outstanding Young Pianist
of the Year and other high achievers from the advanced classes.
Do come and join us for an entertaining evening of remarkable musical talent.
ENTRY WILL BE FREE.
