V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations This lot didn’t sell 53 A 1987 Toyota Supra automatic coupé, registration number E82 JRP, red. ***With over 38,000 (not 36,000) miles from new***, this very original and low mileage Supra is one of less than 100 examples of the Mk III still left on British roads. It was supplied by Abington Motors of Northampton to its first owner on 15/10/87. Finished in red with a grey cloth interior, it is fitted with automatic transmission, cruise control, air conditioning, ABS, electric seat bolsters and lumber supports. The alloy wheels have recently been refurbished and fitted Goodyear original spec tyres. It also comes complete with its original tool kit and bag, an upgraded radiator, a new heater matrix and a stainless steel exhaust. The comprehensive history file accompanying the Toyota contains its original wallet with owners handbooks and service book, a sales brochure, receipts and MOTs confirming the low mileage. This Sierra estate has a five speed gearbox and is fitted with non standard wheels (original steel wheels available). The vendor advises us that the Ford has all original panels and paint and has had a recent service and cambelt change. The Sierra has been used as a daily driver and has recently completed a tour of the home counties without issue. V5C, MOT to October 2017 See illustration This lot didn’t sell 55 WITHDRAWN: A 1981 BMW 323i Baur cabriolet, registration number TRE 741X, red. With 62,000 miles from new, this rare pre-face lift example has formed part of a small private collection for the past 27 years. During his ownership the BMW was subject to a bare metal respray in the 1990s at a cost of £2,700 and since then the vendor has added approximately 4,000 miles to the total mileage. The BMW still presents well and will be offered for auction with a new MOT. V5C, MOT TBA See illustration This lot didn’t sell 56 A 1972 MG B roadster, registration number EKH 174K, chassis number GHN5-UC/2777392G, Primrose yellow. This MG was originally supplied as a left hand drive export model. The MG was imported in 1994 and has been converted to right hand drive. The MG has been restored and uprated by a previous
owner and is now presented in Primrose yellow with a red piped black leather interior. The hood is a mohair type, the wheels have been uprated with Minilite style aluminium items and it is fitted with a desirable overdrive gearbox. In the current ownership the vendor has covered a low annual mileage, due to the car forming part of a collection. The MG will be offered for auction with numerous spares, a set of Rostyle wheels and a tonneau cover. With excellent spares availability, club support and specialist garage services, the evergreen MG B makes an excellent classic buy. V5C, MOT to October 2017 See illustration *******no tonneau cover ************** Sold for £4500 57 A 1975 Triumph TR6, registration number LLT 811P, chassis number CR65590, engine number CR004477HE, magenta. Introduced in 1969 the refreshed Karmann designed TR6 was the last of the separate chassis traditional sports cars produced by Triumph. From 1969 to 1975 they were initially available with the 150 bhp rated engine, with the final year of production seeing the fuel injected engine seeing a reduction in power to 125 bhp. This 125 bhp desirable manual overdrive example is finished in striking magenta and has been in the vendor's ownership since 2002, when it was purchased from a house sale at Heightley Manor, Chudleigh, Devon, in a restored condition with a ***file (see below)*** of restoration works carried out. Since then the vendor has used the TR6 very sparingly only adding a modest couple of thousand miles to the odometer. Recently the TR6 has benefited from a new clutch, alternator and battery. This very handsome and honest example would now benefit from some TLC to bring it back up to a show standard and is offered for auction with a large history file containing receipts, and MOTs. V5C, MOT to October 2017 See illustrations NOTE: ***The aforementioned restoration file has been misplaced by the vendor and will hopefully follow.*** Sold for £9200 58 A 1980 Ford Capri 3.0 S, registration number KMC 737W, chassis number GAECAL050280, engine number AL05028, black. The 3.0 S is the most expensive model of Capri to be sold at auction. Earlier this year, a 1978 example that was used by Lewis Collins portraying the SAS Sergeant William Bodie in the hit TV series The Professionals, Sold for £a record £55,000. At launch in 1978, the Mk III carried over the previous Mk II engine and running gear combinations in the face lifted body shell, and in 3.0 S configuration has become generally regarded amongst enthusiasts as the most desirable. This example has been restored and maintained to a high standard and has recently formed part of a private collection. The Capri looks very rugged with its black coachwork and recently retrimmed interior which incorporates the correct Carla check fishnet Recaro seats and a rare RS four spoke leather rimmed steering wheel. This now rare hot Ford is offered for auction with an impressively large history file containing numerous receipts, a run of MOTs, and a recent rolling road test record showing that the car produces 145 bhp at 5,000 rpm.
