Ultimate Knit Palette Blanket<br />

Notes: Each square for this afghan will be worked from the center<br />

out, each using a different color (MC) at the center. All 150 colors<br />

of Palette are used. The last 6 rows of each square are worked<br />

in White (CC). Once all squares are completed, sew the squares<br />

together with White.<br />

Nupp<br />

Row 1: (K1, yo, k1, yo, k1) into the same stitch. 5 sts.<br />

Row 2: K5tog. 1 st.<br />

Bobble<br />

(K1, yo, k1, yo, k1) into the same stitch. Turn and p5. Turn and k5.<br />

Turn and p5. Turn and k5tog. 1 st.<br />

Circular Cast On<br />

Follow the instructions available here: http://tutorials.knitpicks.<br />

com/wptutorials/circular-cast-on/.<br />

DIRECTIONS<br />

With MC, CO 8 sts with Circular Cast On. Divide sts evenly<br />

between 4 needles, being careful not to twist sts. PM for<br />

beginning of rnd if desired.<br />

Rnd 1: (Kfb) around. 16 sts.<br />

Rnd 2: (k1, bobble) around.<br />

Rnd 3: K around.<br />

Rnd 4: (K1, yo, nupp, yo, k1, yo, nupp, yo) around. 32 sts.<br />

Rnd 5: K around, completing nupps as you go.<br />

Rnd 6: (K1, yo, nupp, yo, ssk, k to 3 before end of needle, k2tog,<br />

yo, nupp, yo) around. 40 sts.<br />

Rnd 7: K around, completing nupps as you go.<br />

Repeat Rnds 6 and 7 five more times. 80 sts. Break yarn.<br />

Join CC.<br />

Rnd 8: (K1, yo, k to end of needle, yo) around. 88 sts.<br />

Rnd 9: P around.<br />

Repeat Rnds 8 and 9 twice more. 104 sts. BO.<br />

Repeat for all 150 colors.<br />

Finishing<br />

Weave in ends and lightly block each square to measurement.<br />

Join squares by your favorite method using CC yarn, using the<br />

following Palette yarn image on Pages 3 & 4 for placement of<br />

colors. Please note this is one image, and you will work from left<br />

to right. For example, your first row would start with Bluebell and<br />

end with Mineral Heather. The blanket is 10 squares across, 15<br />

squares tall.<br />
