To round up the tour, Dr Thomas Tumblin led us out on a high note by inviting us to share our experiences
and moments of spiritual discovery. He encouraged us to bring these back with us and use them as a blessing
to our church, people and community. With a prayerful heart, by the grace of God, we graciously take up the
challenge issued by Dr Tumblin; absorbing what we have learnt in the past few days during the retreat, we
would like to embrace the challenge, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we will do, preach and live the
message for the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The retreat was an enriching journey for us, and we have been blessed in so many ways. Every night, we
would gather to share the blessings of God and pray for one another before we went to bed. Bishop Kwang
and Chair of the Board of Ministry, Rev Elijah Chew, encouraged all of us to write a reflection to share our
experiences and learning from this journey. A souvenir magazine will be published to share with the CMCA
family at this year’s Annual Conference.

特 别 的 行 程
这 是 一 次 很 特 别 的 行 程 , 我 是 第 一 次 参 加 世 界 卫 理 宗 聚 会 , 让 我 惊 奇 的 是 , 竟 然 有 那 么 多 的 来 自
非 洲 裔 的 弟 兄 姐 妹 , 即 便 他 们 有 的 是 居 住 在 美 国 , 但 是 我 所 见 到 的 在 卫 理 宗 的 基 督 徒 肢 体 里 面 的 不
同 民 族 , 以 及 在 卫 理 宗 派 中 竟 然 有 那 么 多 的 非 裔 弟 兄 姐 妹 , 使 我 大 开 眼 界 。
感 谢 主 , 总 体 来 说 : 这 是 一 个 很 好 的 机 会 使 大 家 了 解 , 在 世 界 卫 理 宗 这 个 普 世 的 宗 派 上 需 要 有 信 仰
方 面 的 彼 此 连 接 和 彼 此 勉 励 !
使 卫 斯 理 约 翰 的 承 传 和 经 典 可 以 继 续 延 伸 和 发 展 !
非 常 感 恩 , 上 帝 在 卫 理 宗 的 承 传 上 所 给 予 的 祝 福 ! 同 时 看 见 在 世 界 卫 理 宗 里 面 持 守 真 理 要 道 , 以 及
大 多 数 基 督 徒 在 信 仰 根 基 上 的 坚 定 , 是 值 得 献 上 感 恩 的 !
特 别 感 恩 的 是 : 在 这 次 行 程 中 有 宝 贵 的 研 讨 会 , 那 些 教 授 所 给 予 的 , 是 他 们 人 生 中 对 信 仰 的 至 诚 ,
他 们 的 成 果 , 他 们 生 命 中 最 美 好 的 对 基 督 的 宝 贵 认 识 和 个 人 的 教 学 经 典 。
有 如 此 坚 实 的 信 仰 根 基 在 今 天 的 神 学 院 , 是 卫 理 宗 的 骄 傲 , 所 学 习 到 的 是 我 们 所 有 参 加 人 的 祝 福 。
同 时 我 们 也 看 见 : 在 当 今 这 个 时 代 , 持 守 圣 经 立 场 , 面 对 世 界 的 堕 落
对 基 督 教 的 影 响 , 也 会 影 响 到 世 界 卫 理 宗 的 内 部 。
我 们 需 要 面 对 的 是 : 如 何 在 圣 经 的 根 基 上 , 教 导 教 会 会 友 , 引 导 信
徒 , 带 领 非 信 徒 信 主 。 这 是 今 天 的 教 牧 人 员 需 要 面 对 的 挑 战 , 无 论 世
界 多 么 污 秽 , 在 基 督 里 , 在 卫 理 宗 里 面 , 我 们 都 要 使 上 帝 的 美 名 被 高
举 , 基 督 被 荣 耀 , 这 就 是 我 们 的 使 命 !
