Editor’s
Letter
It only seems a minute since I was writing my first
editor’s letter – and suddenly it’s December and I’m
sad to be writing my last one.
But sweetening my imminent farewell is doing it at my
favourite time of year, with all the hustle and bustle of the
lead up to Christmas. I love the busyness and excitement,
party fun, getting weepy at carol services, decorating the
tree and house – and necking way too many mince pies
and glasses of mulled wine.
All of which you will find reflected in this month’s
magazine. There’s a perfect Christmas family house
(page 80), ideas for festive desserts for those who don’t
like the traditional figgy pud (page 126), inspiration for
decorations you can gather in your own garden (page 137)
and cosy fashion to snuggle up in (page 102).

Year redecorating.
