national voice on <strong>the</strong> key issue that matter to people us<strong>in</strong>g health & social care services. It advises <strong>the</strong> NHS<br />
Commission<strong>in</strong>g Board, English local authorities, Monitor and <strong>the</strong> Secretary <strong>of</strong> State and has <strong>the</strong> power to<br />
recommend action be taken on behalf <strong>of</strong> people us<strong>in</strong>g health & social care services. Healthwatch <strong>England</strong> provides<br />
leadership, support and advice to local healthwatch organisations.<br />
