Skills for Care<br />

The role <strong>of</strong> Skills for Care is to ensure <strong>the</strong> adult social care workforce has <strong>the</strong> skills and qualifications needed to<br />

deliver high quality care and support. They have a network <strong>of</strong> area teams across <strong>England</strong> and Locality managers<br />

work closely with o<strong>the</strong>r stakeholders <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Care Quality Commission (CQC), local authorities, learn<strong>in</strong>g<br />

providers and <strong>the</strong> voluntary and community sector.<br />

Support from Locality Managers can be via phone or email and you can f<strong>in</strong>d out who your locality manager is<br />

below. Any general queries for <strong>the</strong> engagement support team can be emailed to<br />

engagement.support@skillsforcare.org.uk<br />
