Week 15 - 21st November to 25th November
Dear Parents, Guardians, Friends and Family,
We had a great start to the week when we received the information that Mr. Fowler, our
Head of Secondary, had become a father. Baby, wife and Mr. Fowler are all doing well and
I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating them and wishing them well.
The end of an academic term is always one of the busiest times of the school year. There
are assessments to complete, reports to be written and Parent-Teacher meetings to happen.
Please take note of the details regarding your child’s Parent-Teacher meeting this term.
was a great day full of learning and fun. One of our Year 7 entries picked up second prize in
the science project competition. Congratulations Amit, Estella & Won Hee! (pictures on next
Year 10 English
Today the Year 10s were recreating the final scenes of their Drama exam text: A View from
the Bridge. Here is Nick playing the furious Eddie Carbone. Also, below is a still from the
final moments when Eddie and Marco fight, resulting in Eddie's death.

Year 3 - Measuring
Year Three have been using rulers to accurately measure shapes in our Maths lessons so
that we can find their perimeter and area. The students know how important it is to
concentrate because measuring with centimetres and millimetres is not as easy as it looks!
School Photos
The school photos took place this. Individual, class and friendship group photos were taken.
Mr Thomas's Year 9 tutor group had fun taking their friendship photos on Wednesday....
IGCSE Mock Exams
The Year 11 students started their IGCSE mock exams this week. These are important
exams and give students and teachers a chance to review and make intervention plans to
ensure that everyone reaches their potential. The exams are taken under full exam
conditions and will continue all through next week as well. Good luck Y11!
Next week is the final full week of Term 1 and it is set to be another busy one. A reminder
that in the final week of this term we are closed to observe the public holiday on December
5th and finish at 12.00 on December 9th.

I wish you all a peaceful weekend,
