Venue Cymru in Llandudno will be<br />

finishing this year on a magical high<br />

with their Christmas panto. Join<br />

Aladdin on his magic carpet and soar<br />

through an evening of classic<br />

pantomime fun, with Luke Higgins from<br />

E4’s Stage School in the lead role.<br />

Better known for his magic on the field,<br />

Welsh rugby superstar Gareth Thomas<br />

will be transformed into the Genie of<br />

the lamp.<br />

Llandudno’s favourite comedian John<br />

Evans is back as Aladdin’s hapless<br />

brother Wishee Washee, in his 10th<br />

consecutive Venue Cymru Christmas<br />

panto appearance! The pantomime<br />

runs from 10th December right up until<br />

31st December <strong>2016</strong>.<br />

Venue Cymru will ring in the new year<br />

with its busiest programme yet, jampacked<br />

with musicals, gigs and plays<br />

throughout the year.<br />

2017 highlights will include Sunny<br />

Afternoon from 14th–18th February, a<br />

musical based on the music and lyrics<br />

of the Kinks, followed in March by<br />

crowd-pleasers Ghost: The Musical and<br />

The Full Monty.<br />

Summer 2017 will see the National<br />

Theatre bringing their award-winning<br />

production of The Curious Incident of<br />

the Dog in the Night Time, and the West<br />

End hit The Play That Goes Wrong will<br />

be smashing its way through Venue<br />

Cymru too.<br />
