Christmas at Gladstone’s Library

Venue Cymru in Llandudno will be
finishing this year on a magical high
with their Christmas panto. Join
Aladdin on his magic carpet and soar
through an evening of classic
pantomime fun, with Luke Higgins from
E4’s Stage School in the lead role.
Better known for his magic on the field,
Welsh rugby superstar Gareth Thomas
will be transformed into the Genie of
the lamp.
Llandudno’s favourite comedian John
Evans is back as Aladdin’s hapless
brother Wishee Washee, in his 10th
consecutive Venue Cymru Christmas
panto appearance! The pantomime
runs from 10th December right up until
31st December 2016.
Venue Cymru will ring in the new year
with its busiest programme yet, jampacked
with musicals, gigs and plays
throughout the year.
2017 highlights will include Sunny
Afternoon from 14th–18th February, a
musical based on the music and lyrics
of the Kinks, followed in March by
crowd-pleasers Ghost: The Musical and
The Full Monty.
Summer 2017 will see the National
Theatre bringing their award-winning
production of The Curious Incident of
the Dog in the Night Time, and the West
End hit The Play That Goes Wrong will
be smashing its way through Venue
Cymru too.
