WORLD OF LEADING GOLF GUIDE 2016/2

Close to the spring of the fabled river Danube, at the
southern edge Germany’s famous Black Forest, lies the
golf club Öschberghof. As part of the golf-, wellnessand
conference resort of the same name, the club offers
the perfect conditions for golf enthusiasts in search of
the commodities of a hotel in combination with an incomparable
landscape.
The golfing premises cover about two square kilometres
of undulating countryside and already encompass
27-holes. At this time, a new course of 18-holes is being
constructed on the eastern grounds to be opened in
May 2017 as well as a 9-hole course in the West scheduled
to open in October 2017. All courses will have their
very own character and a unique routing guiding the
golfer through a beautiful and varied landscape with a
great number of water hazards. And the first tees will
only be a walk of 5 minutes from the hotel!
Besides presenting the guests with a full 45 holes in
April 2018, the refurbishment of the Driving Range with
its sheltered, heated teeing grounds will be finished in
August 2017. At that same time, the state-of-the-art
practice options will be complemented by two new
indoor tees with a video-analyses system, a new caddy
hall and a revised Academy concept.
By October 2017 the equally overhauled Öschberghof
will include a 4000 square metre Spa area by October
2017 as well as a sophisticated restaurant for fine dining.
And once the 125 bedrooms of the hotel are ready for its
guests in September 2018, the whole establishment will
make for a pleasurable experience which will be hard to
match even when crossing Germany’s borders.

ÖSCHBERGHOF
Das Golf-, Wellness- und Tagungsresort „Der Öschberghof“
befindet sich in einer großen Erweiterungsphase, die im
Herbst 2018 abgeschlossen sein wird. Diese umfasst einen
Zimmerzuwachs auf insgesamt 125 Zimmer, darunter neun
Suiten, den Bau eines über 4000 qm großen Spa-Bereichs
(Fertigstellung ab Oktober 2017) mit einmaligem Konzept,
sowie die Schaffung einer 45-Loch Golfanlage. Die ersten
Abschläge der einzelnen Plätze werden alle innerhalb von
fünf Gehminuten zu erreichen sein. Golfliebhaber haben
daher optimale Voraussetzungen, das Golfspiel in einmaliger
Landschaft zu genießen.
Der knapp 200 Hektar große Golfplatz bietet für Einsteiger
sowie routinierte Golfer optimale Voraussetzungen für ein
ausgewogenes Spielvergnügen. Der Golfplatz befindet sich
derzeit in der Erweiterungsphase, weshalb den Gästen und
den knapp 800 Mitgliedern der Old-Course (18-Loch) sowie
eine Driving Range mit überdachten und beheizten Abschlagplätzen
zur Verfügung steht.
Ab Mai 2017 eröffnet der East Course (18-Loch) bevor im
Oktober 2017 der West Course (9-Loch) nachzieht. Alle Plätze
zeichnen sich durch eine einmalige Streckenführung mit
zahlreichen Wasserhindernissen in idyllischer Landschaft
aus. Parallel dazu entstehen zwei neue Indoor-Abschlagplätze
mit Videoanalyse System, eine weitere Caddyhalle
sowie ein komplett neues Akademiekonzept.
Für die Saison 2018 stehen den Gästen, nach der Überarbeitung
des Old Course (18-Loch), insgesamt 45-Loch zur
Verfügung.
