ESTONIAN GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB
Opened in 2005, the Estonian Golf & Country Club
(EGCC) is considered the finest golf resort in Estonia.
The club is adamant about keeping its organizational
and golfing levels to the highest international standards
– which is why it had the honour to host many different
prestigious international events on its two very diverse
courses. EGCC's Sea Course has been voted one of the
TOP100 golf courses in Continental Europe 4 times in a
row to by Golf World and has hosted the World Cup
European Qualifier twice. In 2016 EGCC will host the
International Men’s Individual European Championship
at the beginning of August.
The 18-hole Sea Course is strewn by oak alleys, old
boulders and natural ponds as it reaches from the forests
to the sea and the Jägala River. Due to its length and
complexity, the Sea Course is a real challenge even for
the experienced golfer as it also bridges altitudes of up
to 40 metres.
In addition EGCC is working with the best female golfer
of all time, Annika Sörenstam, and European Golf Design
to open Annika’s first designed European course in
Estonian Golf & Country Club in 2019. Managed by a
forward-thinking team, the EGCC is GEO Certified
demonstrating its dedication to sustainable business
practices. Travellers will find the club to be easily
accessible as it lies just 20 km from the city centre of
the Estonian capital Tallinn.
Im Jahr 2005 eröffnet, gilt der Estonian Golf & Country Club
(EGCC) als das Erlesenste in Estland. Unnachgiebig kümmert

internationalen Ansprüchen gerecht zu werden. Weshalb der
Club die Ehre hatte, diverse repräsentative internationale Events
auf den beiden abwechslungsreichen Golfplätzen auszurichten.
Der EGCC Sea Course wurde von der Golf World bereits vier
Mal hintereinander zu einem der Top 100 Golfplätze in Zentraleuropa
gewählt und war zwei Mal Schauplatz der World Cup
European Qualifier. Anfang August 2016 wird EGCC das International
Men’s Individual European Championship ausrichten.
Der 18-Loch Sea Course wird von Eichen, alten Felsformationen
und natürlichen Gewässern durchbrochen und reicht von den
Wäldern bis zur Küste und an den Jägala Fluß. Aufgrund seiner
Länge und Komplexität bietet er mit seinen Höhenunterschieden
von bis zu 40 m selbst erfahrenen Golfern eine echte Herausforderung.
Des Weiteren arbeitet EGCC gemeinsam mit der besten Golfspielerin
aller Zeiten, Annika Sörenstam, und European Golf
Design daran, im Jahr 2019 den ersten von der Golfspielerin
entworfenen europäischen Golfplatz im EGCC zu eröffnen.
