The Forest Spr<strong>in</strong>gs to Life<br />
When walk<strong>in</strong>g through the forest,<br />
To my eyes appear,<br />
The colourful buds of life,<br />
Pok<strong>in</strong>g through the bland, white slush and puddles,<br />
Of an abandoned w<strong>in</strong>ter.<br />
The rush of an awaken<strong>in</strong>g river,<br />
And the comfort of warmth after frost,<br />
Along with a bird’s sweet hello,<br />
And the grow<strong>in</strong>g scent of evergreen and flowers,<br />
Renew my senses,<br />
As this forest spr<strong>in</strong>gs to life.<br />
