Bhagyalaxmi Barik, Hupi<br />
Majhi, Sanjukta Munda &<br />
Meerarani Hembram. They<br />
were selected to represent<br />
India at <strong>the</strong> 7th Asian<br />
Women's Rugby Tournament<br />
held on 20th and 21st<br />
February, 2016 at Jawaharlal<br />
Nehru Stadium, Chennai.<br />
Ms. Mandakini Majhi<br />
<strong>KISS</strong> girls in India Senior Women Team<br />
Miss. Mandakini Majhi, a +3 1st yr Commerce student of <strong>KISS</strong><br />
represented<br />
India in 12th South Asian (SAF) Games 2016 held at Guwahati. She<br />
was a part of <strong>the</strong> Indian Kho-Kho team. The Indian team went on to<br />
win <strong>the</strong> GOLD MEDAL. It was one of <strong>the</strong> defining moments for her<br />
and has immensely motivated <strong>the</strong> <strong>KISS</strong> Kho-Kho team to replicate<br />
her achievements. Younger students have also shown keen interest in<br />
<strong>the</strong> sport now.<br />
Mandakini joined<br />
<strong>KISS</strong> in 2007 in <strong>the</strong><br />
5th grade. She also<br />
made ano<strong>the</strong>r piece<br />
of history by<br />
becoming <strong>the</strong> first<br />
girl from Odisha to<br />
be a part of <strong>the</strong><br />
Indian national<br />
women's Kho-Kho<br />
Team & represent<br />
India women Kho-Kho Team at SAF Games<br />
in <strong>the</strong> SAF Games.<br />
She belongs<br />
to Kondh tribe from Bolangir district of Odisha. Among o<strong>the</strong>r achievements, she has been<br />
representing <strong>the</strong> state at National Level Games across various tournaments.<br />
