School was launched at Balasore, Odisha<br />
under <strong>the</strong> auspicious hands of Mr. R.S.<br />
Agarwal and Mr. R.S. Goenka, Co-<strong>Founder</strong>s,<br />
Emami Limited for <strong>the</strong> underprivileged tribal<br />
children. The school will start functioning<br />
from <strong>the</strong> next academic session.<br />

3) Dr. <strong>Samanta</strong> Adopts Orphanage in Nepal<br />
Shree Mo<strong>the</strong>r Disabled Association Orphanage in Nepal was adopted by Dr. <strong>Samanta</strong>,<br />
officially making it a branch of <strong>KISS</strong> in Nepal. Around 100 children belonging to <strong>the</strong><br />
Orphange are now a part of <strong>KISS</strong>.<br />

4) Dr. <strong>Achyuta</strong> <strong>Samanta</strong> addresses World Academic Congress in Madrid<br />
<strong>KISS</strong> was showcased to a large audience of Academic Rectors and Chancellors from various<br />
universities across <strong>the</strong> world during <strong>the</strong> World Academic Congress in Madrid on July 7, 2015.<br />
Dr. <strong>Samanta</strong> delivered a talk on “Poverty alleviation through Education” to <strong>the</strong> congregation<br />
and was appreciated widely.<br />
5) <strong>KISS</strong> participates in Global Summit on Education for Development in Oslo<br />
Dr. <strong>Achyuta</strong> <strong>Samanta</strong> participated in <strong>the</strong> global Summit on education for development held<br />
in Oslo, Norway on July 6-7, 2015. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, <strong>the</strong> UN Secretary General among o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
world Leaders also participated in <strong>the</strong> conference. The aim of <strong>the</strong> summit was to boost global<br />
efforts in <strong>the</strong> field of education. Around 400 dignitaries attended <strong>the</strong> Summit including heads<br />
of government and ministers from 40 different countries, heads of international organizations<br />
and representatives from across <strong>the</strong> world attended <strong>the</strong> summit.<br />
