2017 RULE CHANGES<br />
• The map of the arena has been amended to add a safety box<br />
behind the changeover line and to switch the 13.5m metre gap<br />
between fence and first row of bending poles from one side of<br />
the arena to the other.<br />
• GR14.1 has been updated to clarify the status of different age<br />
groups.<br />
• CR7.1 has been slightly amended in order to show that any<br />
rider may pick up the item, not just the next rider.<br />
• CR23.2 has been amended to cover Pairs and Individuals<br />
also.<br />
• AO4.3 has been added to show that arena party members<br />
must not be in the arena whilst races are in progress<br />
• AO8 and AO9 have been added to cover trainers and<br />
photographers in the arena<br />
• Bang-a-Balloon has been added as a pairs race<br />
• Bottle Exchange has been amended to move the bin from pole<br />
1 to pole 2<br />
• Hoopla has been added as a new game for Team, Pairs and<br />
Individuals<br />
• The rules for Pony Pairs have been amended to show when<br />
riders have to catch the rope.<br />
• Ride and Lead has been removed from this Rule Book.<br />
