The 2017 APGO Mart<strong>in</strong> L. Stone, MD, Faculty Development<br />
Sem<strong>in</strong>ar, “<strong>F<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g</strong> <strong>Your</strong> <strong>Oasis</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>Medical</strong> <strong>Education</strong>,” is<br />
<strong>in</strong>tended for physician educators who teach medical students<br />
and residents <strong>in</strong> obstetrics, gynecology and women’s<br />
health, and others <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong> the field. The program will<br />
encompass the follow<strong>in</strong>g subtopics:<br />

This new pilot program allows first-time authors whose<br />
workshops were not accepted for this year’s Faculty<br />
Development Sem<strong>in</strong>ar to present their proposal to<br />
Senior APGO FDS Faculty members and receive <strong>in</strong>dividual<br />
mentor<strong>in</strong>g for future workshop development.<br />

Physician Heal Thyself: Promot<strong>in</strong>g Wellness <strong>in</strong> a Stressful<br />
Environment<br />
John Dougherty, MD Read<strong>in</strong>g Health System<br />
Incorporation of Learn<strong>in</strong>g Management Systems <strong>in</strong>to<br />
Resident <strong>Education</strong> to Enhance Teach<strong>in</strong>g and Learn<strong>in</strong>g<br />
Plenary sessions, <strong>in</strong>teractive workshops and breakfast round table<br />
discussions are <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> this <strong>in</strong>formative, jam-packed four-day<br />
session. Engag<strong>in</strong>g and knowledgeable speakers have been chosen for<br />
their skills and expertise <strong>in</strong> the focus topic areas.<br />
The program beg<strong>in</strong>s on Saturday, January 7, 2017, with registration<br />
and a network<strong>in</strong>g welcome reception. From Sunday to Tuesday,<br />
enjoy plenary and breakout sessions, as well as breakfast each<br />
morn<strong>in</strong>g. The popular Lunchtime Learn<strong>in</strong>g Session will be held from<br />
1:00 PM–2:15 PM Sunday, January 8.<br />

been reached will be notified and their registrations accepted on a spaceavailable<br />
