Leverage
Leverage is our international trainees programme, aimed at young graduates.
While on the programme, each trainee develops one project for 24 months in
one of our sites throughout the world, while having international exposure and
facing challenging opportunities. They are fast tracked through the heart of our
business with training, coaching and support along the way.
For the Leverage Programme we
look for…
• Young graduates with maximum
of 3 years of working experience;
• University degree (Master level in
Europe) in Management/Economics,
Engineering (mechanic, electronic,
chemistry, industrial/production)
and similar areas;
• English fluency and Microsoft Office
knowledge.
Who...
• Are proactive in meeting and exceeding
expectations;
• Have good relationship skills;
• Are open to learn and to strive to
continuously improve;
• Are committed to value creation;
• Have an international mindset and
look for global assignments.
The Leverage I, edition of 2016, was aimed at graduates in Engineering, Management
and other similar areas and now the trainees are working in projects in
Poland, UAE, Mexico and UK. The recruitment process took place in Portugal
and Poland and the selected trainees had one month of integration and specific
training together in Portugal, before flying to their destinations to initiate the allocated
project. The projects areas of 2016 were Finance & Controlling, Procurement,
Production/Operations, General Management, Supply Chain, Engineering
& Maintenance and Packaging Technology.
From Colep’s side it is offered:

The success of the first edition in terms of internal search and applications and
the selected trainee’s performance has led us to develop the Leverage II, to be
initiated in 2017. For this new edition, we are looking for Masters trainees in Engineering,
Economics, Management and Sciences to develop projects in Brazil,
Germany, Mexico, Poland and UAE.
The Leverage Programme gave me the opportunity to grow in a professional
way. Unlike my mates, I was already a Colep employee and I had the chance
to move to a completely different area: Operational Excellence.
This experience allowed me to grow in a professional way, while being in touch
with different cultures and business people. Also, my fellow colleagues from
Leverage push me to give my best, to never give up and, most importantly, to
achieve the goals of Colep.

moment, César is doing a project
in Excellence Operations in
Querétaro.
