or a period of several weeks I taught and preached on the
subject of seeking God for a vision. What did God want to
achieve through our local fellowship? Many of the people were
getting excited, yet there were a few who could not seem to
grasp the importance of it.
After one meeting, one of the men came up to me saying,
“Anyone who is not seeking God is a hindrance.” I knew what
he was saying was true. However, it seemed more reasonable
that those not seeking the Lord would neither be a hindrance or a
help.
Curious, I sought the Lord to help me understand this.
Immediately, He showed me in the Spirit a radiator. The inside
of a radiator is made up of a large number of tubes or pipes.
Then the Lord showed me that each pipe represented a person.
Those who were not actively seeking God for a vision of His
purpose, were like a clogged pipe which no water was able to
circulate through. Therefore, they were hindering the efficiency
of the “radiator.” However, when all are seeking God and every
“pipe” has the Holy Spirit freely flowing through it, the full
power of God can flow. This is graphically shown in Ephesians
4:16, “...by which every joint supplies, according to the
effective working by which every part does its share...”
The Importance of Vision
The Holy Spirit defined the lack of vision for me. He said
