For Stacy Beaulieu-Fawcett life is about giving your
best at all times. That means fighting for justice,
helping those in need and giving to charities that
depend on the kindness of strangers.
She’s done this as a citizen of Delray
Beach and as a marital and family lawyer
with a thriving practice in Pineapple Grove
and North Palm Beach.
As the daughter an insurance underwriter
(her mom) and an electrical contractor (her
dad) Beaulieu-Fawcett learned the meaning
of hard work. From her days working with a
brilliant family law judge (Amy Karan) she
learned the intricacies and monumental elements
of family law.
“My passion started when I saw what
Amy did. She made a difference in people’s
lives and I wanted to do that as well.” said
Beaulieu-Fawcett, who is one of the few
board certified marital and family lawyers
in Florida and has one of the largest practices
of its kind in Palm Beach County.
So that’s what she did.
She built a professional all- encompassing
law practice that eclipses most others
in this area. The firm now has six lawyers
and a total of 15 employees. They handle
cases that range from divorce to adoption,
step-parent adoption, divorce appeals and
everything in between.
It’s not only a labor of love but a passion
that Beaulieu-Fawcett has honed for the past
12 years. “In life and in business I’ve always
felt that it’s important to focus on helping others.
It’s not about getting, it’s about giving.”
When it comes to giving she tries to be on
both sides of this altruistic coin. She helps
couples form families by way of legal adoption,
she counsels and guides those in the throes of
ugly divorces and child custody battles, and is
a beacon of light for those left in the dark.
“I have personally experienced divorce
and the fear of the unknown. I was the
mother of a six-month-old at the time. When
someone comes to me I really understand
what they’re going through. I know they’re
scared and I give them hope and that helps
them to feel at peace.”
Sometimes, according to Beaulieu-Fawcett,
the person getting divorced is conflicted
about whether to stay or leave a marriage.
And Beaulieu-Fawcett admits this can be a
very scary time for people. But, in the end
she stresses it’s best to make sure everyone’s
safety is of prime importance. “There are a
lot of substance abuse cases and it’s rewarding
to protect the client. There also needs to
be a safety plan in place for the children. It’s a
