With my first child I was in my twenties, and I had maternity pictures taken.
Unfortunately, sixteen years later my pride got in the way and I refused to have
pictures taken. While friends and family took pictures at the shower, it’s not the same
and I regret that decision. I was not alone. There are lots of expectant mothers that
cringe at the idea of maternity photography. Let’s face it, pregnant mommies are
nervous about the thought of a photo shoot featuring their changing bodies at a time
when they don’t always feel their best. This is exactly why you should embrace the
change and use the pregnancy “glow”to your advantage.

With a little preparation and a photographer you trust, you will not only enjoy the
process, but be incredibly thankful that you took the time to document the
beginning of your new baby’s story!
Most importantly, think about how priceless these photos will be to your child one
day… What better reason can there be?
