Because we need to drink 2 to 3 litres of water daily to remain active and healthy, drinking water is the most important natural<br />
resource of all. And much too precious to be used for anything other than quenching thirst. This is why Kärcher has been active in<br />
the area of water treatment for over 20 years. It all started with systems for car wash stations and manual high-pressure washing.<br />
But today, our WPC water treatment systems and WPD fully configurable point-of-use water dispensers reflect the state of the art<br />
in drinking water systems.<br />

1 Kärcher water dispensers – water in a class of its own<br />
Kärcher water dispensers turn normal tap water into healthy drinking<br />
water. Plumbed directly into the public drinking water network, it offers<br />
a constant supply of water of the highest quality due to its unique filter<br />
and hygiene concept. Depending on the machine, you can have ambient,<br />
chilled, sparkling or hot at the push of a button. Hygienic, calorie-free<br />
and pure. This is achieved by automatic thermal disinfection, a water<br />
dispensing valve with contact protection and an innovative filter concept<br />
consisting of an Active-Pure filter and a Hy-Protect filter. The Active-Pure<br />
filter ensures that water tastes pure. The Hy-Protect filter works with<br />
ultra filtration without the addition of chemicals. Its fine-pore membrane<br />
reliably holds back bacteria and viruses.<br />
2 Clean drinking water – whenever and wherever it is needed<br />
Stationary treatment systems deliver drinking water independent of the<br />
mains water supply. Kärcher WPC systems are ideal for treating all types<br />
of water, whether for livestock breeding, holiday resorts, hotels, campsites,<br />
remote settlements, islands, coastal areas or drilling platforms. Various WPC<br />
systems (brackish water [BW] and salt water [SW]) are available depending<br />
on the type of source water (brackish or sea water). The combination of<br />
membrane, media and active carbon filters tailored to specific application<br />
cases, as well as various dosing stations, ensures strict compliance with<br />
drinking water regulations and efficient and low-maintenance operation.<br />
