the purpose of extinguishing the divine light, the<br />

fire of God’s kingdom. They suffered for Christ’s<br />

sake scorn, derision, and the hatred of men who<br />

knew not God. They were maligned and persecuted<br />

even unto death, because they would not renounce<br />
