vision, and I cannot call them to mind until I am<br />

brought before a company where the vision<br />

applies, then the things which I have seen come to<br />

my mind with force.<br />

I am just as dependent upon the Spirit of the<br />

Lord in relating or writing the vision as in having<br />

the vision. It is impossible for me to call up things<br />

which have been shown me unless the Lord brings<br />

them before me at the time that he is pleased to<br />

have me relate or write them.—Spiritual Gifts<br />

Must Be Impressed by the Holy Spirit.—I<br />

cannot at my own impulse take up a work and<br />

launch out into it. I have to be impressed by the<br />

Spirit of God. I cannot write unless the Holy Spirit<br />

helps me. Sometimes I cannot write at all. Then<br />

again I am aroused at eleven, twelve, and one<br />

o’clock; and I can write as fast as my hand can<br />

move over the paper.—Letter 11, 1903.<br />
