Tonight I propose to take up a kind of summary
of what we have had through the week, and then a
further lesson from that. The first night after the
report of the hearing was given, which laid the
foundation for all our following study--Tuesday
night that was--we took up and noticed three
particular points; on Wednesday night three more,
and last night one more. The three points of the
first night you remember shut us up to the giving of
the third angel's message now as it reads in words.
"If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God."
And that of itself shows that the time has come
when the image is there, and that the mark is to be
received, because the warning is against the
worship of the beast and his image, and receiving
his mark in his forehead, or in his hand.
