But now about the Pentecost, we read from the
same (611, of Vol. IV) as follows:
The prophecies which were fulfilled in the
outpouring of the former rain at the opening of the
gospel, are again to be fulfilled in the latter rain at
its close.
Now you see there are prophecies pertaining
only to the latter rain, but the prophecies pertaining
to the former rain are to be fulfilled too, in the
