Southern California’s best beaches are just a short bus-ride or drive away. Enjoy
hiking, mountain biking, camping, and skiing on our nearby mountain ranges. This is
Southern California, where you can enjoy the outdoors all year round. The average
summer temperatures are 16°-23°C, average winter temperatures are 8°-16°C,
and typically there are 345 sunny days a year.

3. Pay the $55 non-refundable application fee via credit card.

American Language and Culture Program (ALCP)
Intensive English Program
ALCP offers the Intensive English Program that is designed to assist individuals
achieve their academic or professional goals. There are up to nine different levels in
the program, and ALCP offers English proficiency waivers for conditionally admitted
students. Through the ALCP Bridge program, students in Level 6 or above can combine
intensive English with one or two university courses.
Conditional Admission
Conditional admission is available to academically qualified applicants without
English proficiency who receive guaranteed admission to CSU Dominguez Hills and
selected local community colleges. Interested students must apply to CSUDH and ALCP
to have their application processed.
