Picking out the perfect
dress isn’t the easiest task,
and scouting for a good deal,
too, raises the stakes.
But Together We Cope
and Eva’s Bridals International
in Orland Park may
just have the solution for
those bargain hunters.
On Sunday, Feb. 26, Together
We Cope, a Tinley
Park-based nonprofit, is
hosting a special sale that is
to feature nearly 300 dresses
fit for any special occasion.
The sale – which will take
place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
– will be held at the organization’s
resale shop Nu2u,
17010 Oak Park Ave.
What’s more is that these
dresses are samples from
Eva’s Bridals’ past collections.
They come in various
styles – from cocktail to
gowns to mother of the bride
wear – and in different colors
– and shades, too – for
those who like to match.
These samples have been
tried on before by Eva’s
Bridals’ customers for fittings,
but they have “never
been worn” outside of that,
said Marge Seltzner, director
of communications and marketing
at Together We Cope.
With prices starting at $50,
Seltzner and store manager
Cori Scanlan said this is an
opportunity not to miss, especially
with prom and wedding
seasons just around the corner.
For customers in search of an
even sweeter deal, they’ll be
in for a treat. Scanlan added
the one-day sale also offers a
deal of two for $75 for dresses
originally marked at $50, and
for items priced at $75, it’s
two for $100.

prom dresses at Together We
Cope’s one-day sale, as they
“are really beautiful,” and she
promises young girls “will
love the dresses.”
This isn’t the first time the
wedding boutique has paired
up with Together We Cope.
A few years ago, Eva’s Bridal
of Oak Lawn donated its
goodies, and “it was one of
the most successful events,”
Sweis said.
At the heart of the sale is
Sweis, Seltzner and Scanlan’s
effort to give a girl – or
a woman of any age – a night
to remember.
