The Viotti International Music Competition,<br />
established in Vercelli in 1950 by Joseph Robbone,<br />
is one of the most prestigious Italian music<br />
competitions and its prize-winners often achieve<br />
major careers. Alternating between piano and voice,<br />
it is renowned for its high standards, awards, and<br />

The 68th Gian Battista Viotti International Music<br />
Competition 2017 is open to pianists of all<br />
nationalities who were born after October 21,<br />
1986. The age limit for the singers of the Viotti<br />
Competition 2018 is 30 (women) and 32 (men).<br />
