Member of the Executive Board at <strong>Bosch</strong> <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG<br />
As Member of the Executive Board at <strong>Bosch</strong> <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG, <strong>Reiner</strong> <strong>Leipold</strong>-<br />
<strong>Büttner</strong> is responsible for the Business Unit Mobile Applications as well as for<br />
Engineering and Manufacturing at <strong>Bosch</strong> <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG since July 1, 2010. He<br />
has been a member of the Executive Committee since 2004.<br />
<strong>Reiner</strong> <strong>Leipold</strong>-<strong>Büttner</strong> studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of<br />
Stuttgart and began his career at Robert <strong>Bosch</strong> GmbH as a trainee upon<br />
graduating in 1977. After various positions at the Blaichach production site in<br />
Manufacturing Engineering, he became Management Consultant for Chassis<br />
Systems Executive Management at the Schwieberdingen site in 1982.<br />
In 1984, Mr. <strong>Leipold</strong>-<strong>Büttner</strong> returned to Blaichach as the Departmental<br />
Manager of the Machine Tool and Special Machine Construction Department.<br />
In 1990, he assumed responsibility of Process Engineering at Ansbach and,<br />
beginning in 1992, for the Nuremberg production site as well. He was<br />
appointed Technical Works Manager at Eisenach in 1993, later becoming<br />
Managing Director of Robert <strong>Bosch</strong> Fahrzeugelektrik Eisenach GmbH. He<br />
joined the Chassis Systems Management Team in 1996, where he held<br />
various positions with product responsibility for ABS and brakes. He also<br />
spent several years in Drancy, France during this period.<br />
Before joining the Executive Board at <strong>Bosch</strong> <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG, Mr. <strong>Leipold</strong>-<strong>Büttner</strong><br />
was responsible for Production, Quality Assurance, and other product areas<br />
as a Director of the Gasoline Systems Division.<br />
