Afternoon at leisure. Welcome dinner and introduction by your tour director. B Day 2: Monday : Rome After breakfast enjoy a panoramic tour of Ancient Rome and an inside visit of the Vatican Museums, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening an Optional Rome-by- Night excursion ($). B Day 3: Tuesday : Rome • Florence At 7:30 am we depart by motor coach to Florence. Upon arrival we enjoy a walking tour of the city. Lunch in a local restaurant. Overnight in Florence. L Day 4: Wednesday: Florence • Cinque Terre After breakfast we depart for the Cinque Terre, comprised of five wonderful small villages on the Italian Riviera. We will visit and travel on the Cinque Terre train which connect all the five towns. We return in the afternoon to Florence. Evening at leisure. B Day 5: Thursday: Florence • Venice After breakfast depart to Venice. Upon arrival enjoy a guided tour of this unique and romantic city. Overnight. B Day 6: Friday: Venice • Verona • Lake Garda • Lake Maggiore After breakfast our first stop will be the romantic city of Verona where we visit the Roman Theatre and Juliet’s balcony. Our next stop will be Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, where we visit the charming town of Sirmione. We continue on to Lake Maggiore for an evening at leisure. B Day 7: Saturday: Lake Maggiore Today we enjoy a full day at leisure surrounded by the peaceful and breathtaking scenery. With your ferry ticket you will be able to visit Isola Bella where you can admire the palace and the beautiful Italian gardens. B Day 8: Sunday: Lake Maggiore • Lake Como This morning we transfer to Lake Como. Day at leisure to explore this lovely town known also for its' artistic and cultural gems. Overnight. B Day 9: Monday: Lake Como Day at leisure. You may visit at your own pace with your ferry ticket which allows you to visit the towns along the lake by ferry or boat. B Day 10: Tuesday: Lake Como • Naples • ferry to Palermo After breakfast, transfer to the Milan railway station for your train to Naples. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the port of Naples to board a ferry to Sicily. Dinner and overnight on board. B D Day 11: Wednesday: Palermo • Montreale • Agrigento After we disembark we stop at a local “bar” to enjoy a Sicilian breakfast. We later enjoy a panoramic tour of the city before continuing to the town of Monreale famous for its' Moorish-Norman Dome. We continue to Agrigento for dinner and overnight. B D Day 12: Thursday: Agrigento • Taormina • Giardini Naxos This morning we visit the Valley of the Temples, the world's largest archaeological park and a UnESCO World Heritage Site. Before arriving in the area of Taormina we stop for a tasting of Sicilian delicacies. Afternoon at leisure in Taormina for shopping and strolling. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. B T D Day 13: Friday: Excursion to Syracuse This morning we depart for Syracuse , for a guided visit of the archaeological park. Free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight. B D Day 14: Saturday: Mount Etna • Catania • Rome After breakfast we depart of an excursion to Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. We enjoy a farewell lunch with local products before departing for Catania airport for our return flight back to Rome. Arrival transfer to your hotel in Rome.
