CWTF 2017 Inaugural Member's Edition Magazine

A MESSAGE FROM THE
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Over the last three years I have travelled
many miles as we launched the CWTF. I
remember thinking in the early days that
we were on a path that would truly make a
difference for wild turkeys, and for conservation
in general here in Canada.
Today I see an organization that is growing
and putting down solid roots to achieve those
goals. It is exciting to see chapters holding their
4th annual CWTF events this year, and those who
are planning their first.
As the Director of Operations, I have an
amazing job. I get to see and meet people from
across the country who have come together
to help make the CWTF “The New Face of
Conservation in Canada”. I have heard the
stories, worked on local projects and toiled late
into the evenings with volunteers who share that
passion, while making friends that I look forward
to seeing each year.
We are truly embarking on a journey that
will see many great things accomplished for
wildlife and conservation in our country. Enjoy
our magazine and I look forward to meeting you
along the way.
