Executive summary<br />

We were <strong>in</strong>spired by the results of our local, <strong>and</strong> European market research,<br />

<strong>and</strong> our long time market experience to develop a project plan for the manufactur<strong>in</strong>g<br />

<strong>and</strong> sale of hybrid-, trolley buses <strong>and</strong> m<strong>in</strong>ibuses. The bus<strong>in</strong>ess<br />

management <strong>and</strong> design<strong>in</strong>g process of the buses is done at the site of opera<br />

tion, hybrids <strong>and</strong> trolley buses are made <strong>in</strong> Pecs. Coach-build<strong>in</strong>g is carried<br />

out at the manufactur<strong>in</strong>g plant of the Turkish co-operat<strong>in</strong>g partner. The<br />

superstructure of the bus is built on self-runn<strong>in</strong>g Mercedes-Benz or Iveco<br />

manufactured chassis.<br />

The manufactur<strong>in</strong>g of the Beta Electro trolley, fuel cell <strong>and</strong> hybrid buses,<br />

the jo<strong>in</strong>t utilization of the Beta-stirrup <strong>and</strong> Beta-Floor <strong>in</strong>ventions will mean a<br />

new approach to urban public transportation. This is go<strong>in</strong>g to be the most<br />

significant <strong>and</strong> the most profitable bus<strong>in</strong>ess of the company.<br />

Dur<strong>in</strong>g the f<strong>in</strong>ancial plann<strong>in</strong>g we used cost-profit analysis to exam<strong>in</strong>e the<br />

feasibility of the <strong>in</strong>vestment, the susta<strong>in</strong>ability of effective operation, <strong>and</strong> the<br />

assurance of expected output.<br />

The <strong>in</strong>dex numbers are:<br />

net Present Value (nPV): 37 175 180 EUR<br />

Profitability <strong>in</strong>dex (Pi): 5.7<br />

<strong>in</strong>ternal revenue rate (irr): 54.6%<br />

Discounted Payback Period (DPP): 5 years<br />

All of the <strong>in</strong>dex numbers meet all criteria, therefore dur<strong>in</strong>g its operation the<br />

project will generate the expected revenues. The exam<strong>in</strong>ation of Return<br />

Period is done based on the calculated base value revenue volume, <strong>and</strong> the<br />

present value of the <strong>in</strong>vested capital. Currently, this <strong>in</strong>dex is at year 5.<br />

Over all it can be determ<strong>in</strong>ed that production <strong>and</strong> sales opportunities of all<br />

proposed products are subservient.<br />

Description of your product(s) <strong>and</strong>/or services<br />

We will carry out the design process of the buses, <strong>and</strong> production of Beta<br />

Electro at the headquarters <strong>in</strong> Pecs. Manufactur<strong>in</strong>g will be done <strong>in</strong> Turkey on<br />

the manufactur<strong>in</strong>g l<strong>in</strong>es of BURSA.<br />

Except for the chassis, all suppliers are located <strong>in</strong> Bursa or its surround<strong>in</strong>gs,<br />

<strong>and</strong> possess DIN, <strong>and</strong> EU qualifications, <strong>and</strong> like our partner have ISO<br />

qua lity control systems. In addition, our company monitors <strong>and</strong> assures the<br />

control of local, ongo<strong>in</strong>g manufactur<strong>in</strong>g. All sales <strong>and</strong> logistics will be performed<br />

at the company’s headquarters.<br />
