Coleford, The Bells Hotel offers the largest<br />
leisure complex in the Forest of Dean. This<br />
traditional property has a fine bar lounge and<br />
restaurant where you will enjoy a hot buffet<br />
breakfast and evening meal with choice of menu.<br />
Leisure facilities include an 18 hole golf course<br />

Beamish Museum which explores the mining &<br />
industrial heritage of the region. To the west, the<br />
Durham Dales are made up of Teesdale and<br />
Weardale and is a peaceful, rich and varied<br />
landscape of moors, hills and valleys dotted with<br />
picturesque villages and market towns. A<br />
marvellous destination for a lovely holiday.<br />
DAY 1 Collected from your home around<br />
7.30am we have refreshment stops<br />

DAY 2 After breakfast we head to<br />
Durham. Plenty of time to explore<br />

Cathedral is a breathtaking<br />
example of Romanesque architecture and one of the finest Norman buildings in the world. Durham has a lovely<br />
atmosphere with riverside walks and plenty of excellent shopping.<br />
DAY 3 A superb day today as we are joined by our local guide for an enjoyable commentary as we travel through some<br />
dramatic scenery. We head for the town of Barnard Castle and visit Bowes Museum (included). A remarkable<br />
French Chateau with a stunning collection of European art. From here we continue for a tour of the wonderful<br />
Durham Dales. A memorable day out.<br />
DAY 4 Excursion to the award winning Beamish Living Museum. Experience a real sense of your past at Beamish,<br />
and discover what life was like in Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian times. (inc.)<br />
DAY 5 Sadly we depart the hotel after breakfast and journey home with refreshment stops on route. Returning to the<br />
local area around 6.00pm - returned to your home by our service.<br />

After being collected from your local pick up point<br />
(approx. 9.00am), we have a lunch stop in<br />
Marlborough before arriving at the hotel mid<br />
afternoon.<br />
Today we shall have a visit to the lovely town of<br />
Ledbury which has many attractive black & white<br />
buildings. From here we continue to Hereford for<br />
lunch. This historic city on the River Wye has a<br />
vibrant centre with a host of historic buildings<br />
including the magnificent Cathedral. From Hereford<br />
we travel out in to magnificent scenery, heading over<br />
the Brecon Beacons and back to the hotel.<br />
Today we shall be joined by our excellent local guide<br />
for a tour of the beautiful Wye Valley including a stop<br />
at the famous Symonds Yat viewpoint and a visit to<br />
the beautiful ruins of Tintern Abbey on the banks of<br />
the Wye. Entrance included.<br />
After breakfast we head for the lovely town of Bath<br />
for lunch. Returning back to the local area around<br />
4.00/5.00pm.<br />
