We have been running day excursions for
over 25 years, picking up through the
local area from Poole to New Milton.
Most of the destinations are tried & tested
and we are always looking out for
somewhere new and exciting!
We trust you will notice the difference
when travelling on board a Highcliffe
Coach. We have luxury modern touring
coaches with comfortable legroom, toilet
facilities and modern safety features. Not
forgetting our ‘top’ drivers!
As always, a huge tribute to all our
wonderful staff for their brilliant efforts.
Most of the day excursions allow for
around 4 1/2 hours at the destination
although this does vary slightly on some
trips. Please check the timings when
booking.
We are a family business who have been
serving the local area for over 25 years -
since 1996. Your enjoyment is our driving
motivation!

We will make every effort to carry out the programme and itineraries as advertised but must
reserve the right to cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or stopping places without
prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control.

If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall
apply charges in line with the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips.

We regularly upgrade our fleet of modern
coaches to offer a high level of comfort and

Hughenden Manor, Buckinghamshire - National Trust
A highly regarded National Trust property, Hughenden was famously the home of PM Benjamin Disraeli. Surrounded by ancient woodlands and parkland,
this impressive Manor House has a huge sense of history - the site of political drama and royal visits. As well as the political intrigue, the Manor also played
an important role in World War Two as the RAF had a secret base here. The gardens which were designed by Disraeli’s wife are another highlight - lovely to

Forde Abbey & Gardens, Somerset
This superb former Medieval Abbey was founded by Cistercian Monks in 1140. Set in the lovely

something for every season with sculptures and architectural features, a cascade of lakes and

Weald & Downland Living Museum - Home of The Repair Shop
Beautifully situated in the lovely West Sussex countryside this superb open air museum includes
rescued traditional rural buildings. The site has recently shot to prominence as the location of
the hit BBC series - The Repair Shop - the barn can be seen from a distance. The 40-acre site has 50 buildings to explore and many are exhibit houses,
furnished to recreate historic domestic interiors. There are different domestic demonstrations on most days in the exhibit houses – dairying and cooking,

Come along for a lovely day out to Kew Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to the iconic Temperate House - the largest Victorian glasshouse in

spectacular Rhizotron and Xstrata walkway. With magnificent glasshouses and beautifully landscaped gardens, this once royal residence represents 250

The Vyne, Hampshire - National Trust
The Vyne is a unique Tudor House situated in beautiful countryside just north of Basingstoke.
Inside, the house is full of character and brimming with the history, artefacts and furnishing of its
residence over the years. Originally built for Henry VIII’s Lord Chamberlain, the house retains its
Tudor Chapel and many original features. Around the grounds there are extensive woodland
trails to explore and a wetland area populated by many different species of bird. The House is

The picturesque seaside town of Lyme Regis is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on
the border of Dorset and Devon. Plenty to explore among the narrow streets with a lovely

Cobb harbour famously featured in the films The French Lieutenant's Woman, Ammonite & Willy

the West Country’s premier antiques event, the fair is housed in four halls and over 40 shopping

from paintings and antique furniture to vintage teddies and luxury leather luggage. The fair

Highgrove Gardens - SPECIAL DAY
Places are strictly limited for this opportunity to see the acclaimed gardens of Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort, located near Tetbury in the
Cotswolds. Designed to embody The King's environmental philosophy, there a wide variety of interlinking habitats including The Wild Flower Meadow, The
Sundial Garden, The Cottage Garden and much more. We have booked a tour of the gardens led by one of the garden guides, which lasts approximately
two hours. Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that garden routes are unmade with bumpy and uneven surfaces. Afterwards there will be
time for refreshments in the Orchard Restaurant and visiting the Highgrove Estate shop should you wish to do so. You may like to bring a packed lunch with

restored Swanage Railway at Norden with views of Corfe Castle, for a nostalgic steam train ride

**NEW FOR 23** Seaton Tramway & Jurassic Coast
Situated at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast, Seaton is a small coastal town. Free time to take a
look around the gift and craft shops and have a stroll along the level seafront. In the afternoon,
meet up at the Seaton Tramway Station in the middle of town where we have included a return
journey on this unique attraction. It is a 30 ride on the tram which travels up the beautiful River
Axe estuary - through two nature reserves and giving an unrivalled view of the abundant wading
bird life. We alight at Colyton Station - time for a cup of tea and a look around the souvenir shop
before reboarding the tram for the return journey to Seaton.

fascinating rare glimpse in to Royal life in the 19th Century, the house has an extravagant interior

private rooms of Victoria and Albert. Marvel at the magnificence of the Royal Apartments including the sumptuous drawing and dining rooms and the

Lovely day out to this beautiful Cathedral city of ageless beauty with a captivating history. At the
city’s heart is Salisbury Cathedral, a beacon seen from miles away which has attracted visitors for
centuries. Gathered around the Cathedral is a collection of medieval buildings with plenty of
places to sit and wonder on those who have travelled before. The traditional English architecture
continues along the streets with some excellent independent shopping, a range of coffee shops

With the magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace, Wells is a special place to visit at this time of
year. Wells is one of Britain's secret gems and a fabulous destination for a day out; proof that the
country still has much to admire! Sheltered beneath the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills, it
combines a wealth of historic interest and beautiful architecture. Wells qualifies as England's
smallest, and Somerset's only city because of its amazing 12th century Cathedral. The wells, which
gave the city its name, are located within the grounds of the Bishop's Palace, which is still the
residence of the Bishop of Bath and Wells. Also of interest are Vicars' Close, claimed to be the oldest

Christmas At Kew Illuminated Trail
