How to Book? You can book your trip in 3 different ways! Hello all!! Thanks for taking an interest in our service here at Highcliffe. We have been running day excursions for over 25 years, picking up through the local area from Poole to New Milton. Most of the destinations are tried & tested and we are always looking out for somewhere new and exciting! We trust you will notice the difference when travelling on board a Highcliffe Coach. We have luxury modern touring coaches with comfortable legroom, toilet facilities and modern safety features. Not forgetting our ‘top’ drivers! As always, a huge tribute to all our wonderful staff for their brilliant efforts. Most of the day excursions allow for around 4 1/2 hours at the destination although this does vary slightly on some trips. Please check the timings when booking. We are a family business who have been serving the local area for over 25 years - since 1996. Your enjoyment is our driving motivation! We look forward to seeing you soon. Terms & Conditions - Day Excursions PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU CANCEL YOUR DAY EXCURSION YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR CANCELLATION CHARGES AS SET OUT BELOW. We will make every effort to carry out the programme and itineraries as advertised but must reserve the right to cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or stopping places without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall apply charges in line with the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips. More than 14 days notice - Full refund | 7 to 13 days notice - Less 50% | Less than 7 days - No refund. SPECIAL TERMS - THEATRE TRIPS/TICKETED EVENTS - Cancellation terms for these bookings More than 28 days notice - Full refund | 28 days or less notice - No refund Our Coaches We regularly upgrade our fleet of modern coaches to offer a high level of comfort and incorporate new safety features. Our touring coaches are specified to provide generous legroom making for a comfortable journey. Air conditioning is fitted throughout and all vehicles also have toilet facilities, comfortable reclining seats, armrests, tinted glass and seat belts. Our fleet is maintained independently to the highest of standards and we also take great pride in the presentation of every vehicle. September 2023 Tue 5th Stourhead House & Gardens - Wiltshire - NT One of the best National Trust destinations in the South. The celebrated 18th Century landscaped gardens of Stourhead are world famous; your first sight of the lake will leave you amazed. There are stunning views around the grounds with gothic temples, monuments, rare plants and a criss-cross of sloping walkways surrounding the lake. The stunning Palladian Mansion is full of Georgian treasures, Chippendale furniture and fine paintings. Price includes entrance. Adults/Seniors £38.50 | NT Member - £23.00 Tue 5th Hughenden Manor, Buckinghamshire - National Trust A highly regarded National Trust property, Hughenden was famously the home of PM Benjamin Disraeli. Surrounded by ancient woodlands and parkland, this impressive Manor House has a huge sense of history - the site of political drama and royal visits. As well as the political intrigue, the Manor also played an important role in World War Two as the RAF had a secret base here. The gardens which were designed by Disraeli’s wife are another highlight - lovely to stroll around and enjoy the plants. Facilities include a café & tea room serving hot & cold food. You could also bring a packed lunch to enjoy on the estate. Price includes entrance. Adults/Seniors £38.00 | NT Member - £25.00 Wed 6th RHS Wisley Flower Show, Surrey Marvel at this floral extravaganza with top quality plants and garden goodies for sale at this flagship RHS garden. Expert advice on offer and browse RHS medal winners displays as well as enjoying the floral display by the National Dahlia Society. Includes access to the already wonderful gardens at Wisley with richly planted borders, luscious rose gardens and the state-of-the-art Glasshouse. Lovely gift shop and restaurant. If you want to bring plants home please bring your own named cardboard box – reasonable size please! Price includes entrance. Adults/Seniors £37.50 | RHS Member - £23.00 Fri 8th Forde Abbey & Gardens, Somerset This superb former Medieval Abbey was founded by Cistercian Monks in 1140. Set in the lovely Somerset countryside, the house is surrounded by 30 acres of award winning gardens described by Alan Titchmarsh as 'One of the great gardens in the West Country'. The garden offers something for every season with sculptures and architectural features, a cascade of lakes and the impressive Centenary Fountain, the highest in England. Inside you can discover the lives of monks in the fascinating Monastic Rooms whilst the house contains fine furniture and houses the ornate Mortlake tapestries. Only £36.50 Mon 11th Weald & Downland Living Museum - Home of The Repair Shop Beautifully situated in the lovely West Sussex countryside this superb open air museum includes rescued traditional rural buildings. The site has recently shot to prominence as the location of the hit BBC series - The Repair Shop - the barn can be seen from a distance. The 40-acre site has 50 buildings to explore and many are exhibit houses, furnished to recreate historic domestic interiors. There are different domestic demonstrations on most days in the exhibit houses – dairying and cooking, spinning or weaving. Plenty of time to enjoy the setting - lovely new café overlooking the mill pond. Includes entrance. Adults £37.50 | Over 60s £35.50 Mon 11th Kew Gardens Come along for a lovely day out to Kew Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Home to the iconic Temperate House - the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world, Kew is one of our most popular garden destinations. Plenty to see at this fantastic destination including amazing treetop views from the spectacular Rhizotron and Xstrata walkway. With magnificent glasshouses and beautifully landscaped gardens, this once royal residence represents 250 years of historical gardens. You may like to enjoy a guided tour around the Gardens on the Kew Explorer land train and learn about Kew's flora, fauna and historic buildings. Price includes entrance. Inside, the house is full of character and brimming with the history, artefacts and furnishing of its residence over the years. Originally built for Henry VIII’s Lord Chamberlain, the house retains its Tudor Chapel and many original features. Around the grounds there are extensive woodland trails to explore and a wetland area populated by many different species of bird.
