WITHOUT CONSENT: AUSTRALIA’S PAST ADOPTION PRACTICES
Without Consent: Australia’s
past adoption practices is a
new exhibition bringing to light
a previously hidden aspect of
Australia’s past.
It is estimated that at least 150,000
adoptions took place from the 1950s
to 1970s - a significant number of
which were forced. This exhibition
has offered those affected the
opportunity to share their stories.
