Linda Lewis holds a masters degree in research psychology from the University of Cape<br />

Town, specialising in postpartum depression. She works exclusively in the area of perinatal<br />

well<strong>ne</strong>ss. She worked at the Postnatal Depression Support Association (PNDSA), where she<br />

facilitated support groups for many years. Several years ago she started a private practice<br />

where she continues to run support groups for mothers as well as see individuals who are<br />

managing fertility difficulties, pregnancy loss or termination and depression/anxiety during<br />

and after pregnancy. She has travelled to many hospitals throughout South Africa training<br />

maternity staff in dealing with postnatal depression. She is on the board of PNDSA. She is<br />

married, has two children and lives in Cape Town.<br />
