LBES SUMMER SCHOOL 6 WEEK PROGRAM
June 5 – July 14, 2017
Parents may drop their children off as early as 7:30am with no charge
MORNING CARE- Available- for $8.00 flat rate per hour
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 STUDENTS TO OFFER THIS PROGRAM
• Morning Care is from 6:30am – 7:30am (1 hour)
PLAN A – Bible, Math & Language Arts
BIBLE: We will begin the day with Bible study and games. Students will learn about
Bible characters & doctrinal truths.
MATH: This program begins as low as number recognition and writing numbers for
the kindergarten age and moves up to pre-algebra for the advanced elementary
student. Students are placed at their present level and advance at their own pace.
BREAK: 10:00-10:20 Snack/ Recess Time
LANGUAGE ARTS: At the kindergarten level, students will go over letter and sound
recognition and writing. Other levels will cover phonics, grammar, sentence structure,
writing, and reading comprehension.
PLAN B – FULL-DAY Bible, IXL, Classroom curriculum, plus Enrichment Schedule This
program will encompass all of Plan A to include the enrichment program after lunch
as shown below.
Lunch is not provided by the school. A home lunch must be provided. The school
will have milk, orange juice and snacks available for purchase for $.60 each during
break and lunch. Please purchase a snack card in the office.

Registration and Enrollment
LIMITED ENROLLMENT: Students will be accepted on a “first-come-first serve” basis,
upon receipt of tuition. The NON-REFUNDABLE Enrollment Fee can reserve your seat
for summer school but tuition paid, in-full, secures your child’s place on the 2017 Summer
School roster. As long as seats are available, the deadline to pay for summer school is
May 19, 2017 before your child’s name is dropped.
Summer School Uniform & Dress Code Policies:
All students enrolled in the LBES Summer School Program are allowed to wear regular
clothes to school however, students are asked that their attire should be modest, loose
fitting, and in good repair. Shorts should be modest and loose fitting, and should not be
shorter than mid-thigh. Sagging pants or exposed underwear will not be allowed. Pants
must fit properly. Shirts should not have any prints that promote violence, drug use, or
obscene, vulgar, or inappropriate language that would be offensive to others. A jacket
may be worn in the A/C classrooms.
Additionally, Leggings, for girls, are acceptable with a shirt that covers the buttocks.
Short shirts with leggings will not be acceptable. Parents will be notified to replace
the clothing. (LBES reserves the right to deem any clothing inappropriate.) Tennis
shoes/sneakers must be worn ONLY. The Student Code of Conduct will remain as stated
in the current Lanakila Baptist Elementary Student Handbook and will be strictly enforced.
