Yabancı Okullar: Yabancılar tarafından açılmış özel
okullardır.
Azınlık Okulları: Rum, Ermeni ve Musevî azınlıklar
tarafından kurulmuş, Lozan Antlaşması ile güvence
altına alınmış ve kendi azınlığına mensup Türkiye
Cumhuriyeti uyruklu öğrencilerin devam ettiği okul
öncesi eğitim, ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim özel okullarıdır.
Dershane: Öğrencileri; bir üst okulun veya yüksek
öğretime giriş sınavlarına hazırlamak, istedikleri
derslerde yetiştirmek ve bilgi düzeylerini yükseltmek
amacıyla faaliyet gösteren özel öğretim kurumlarıdır.
Çeşitli (Muhtelif) Kurslar: Kişilerin sosyal, kültürel ve
meslekî alanlarda bilgi, beceri, yetenek ve deneyimlerini
geliştirmek veya isteklerine göre serbest zamanlarını
değerlendirmek üzere faaliyet gösteren özel öğretim
kurumlarıdır.
Özel Eğitim Okulu: Özel eğitim gerektiren bireylere
hizmet veren, özel olarak yetiştirilmiş personelin
bulunduğu, geliştirilmiş eğitim programlarının
uygulandığı özel öğretim kurumudur.
Motorlu Taşıt Sürücüleri Kursu: Motorlu taşıt
sürücüsü yetiştirerek sınav sonucu sertifika veren ve
trafikle ilgili eğitim-öğretim yaptıran özel öğretim
kurumlarıdır.
Öğrenci Etüt Eğitim Merkezi: Öğrencilerin, derslerine
çalışmalarına, ödev ve projelerini yapmalarına yardımcı
olan, ilgi, istek ve yetenekleri doğrultusunda çeşitli
faaliyetlerin yürütüldüğü özel öğretim kurumlarıdır.
Özel Eğitim ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezi: Özel eğitim
gerektiren bireylerin konuşma ve dil gelişim güçlüğü, ses
bozuklukları, zihinsel, fiziksel, duyusal, sosyal, duygusal
veya davranış problemlerini ortadan kaldırmak ya da
etkilerini en az seviyeye indirmek, yeteneklerini yeniden
en üst seviyeye çıkarmak, temel öz bakım becerilerini ve
bağımsız yaşam becerilerini geliştirmek ve topluma
uyumlarını sağlamak amacıyla faaliyet gösteren özel
öğretim kurumlarıdır.
4. Sınıflamalar
ISCED 2011 (Uluslararası Standart Eğitim
Sınıflaması) ve İstatistiki Bölge Birimleri Sınıflaması
(İBBS) kullanılmaktadır.
Explanation
Foreign Schools: They are the schools founded by
foreigners.
Minority Schools: They are the private preschool, primary
and upper secondary schools founded by Greek, Armenian
and Jewish minorities and secured with the Treaty of
Lausanne and to which students who are citizens of
Republic of Turkey and who belong to those minorities
attend.
Private Schools: They are the private institutions which
have a role in preparing students for the exams of the
upper stages, in helping them catch up with their courses
and for raising their level of knowledge.
Miscellaneous Private Schools: They are the private
institutions which have a role in improving people’s
knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences in social,
cultural and professional areas and enabling them to make
use of their time as they like it.
Special Education School: It is the private institution
which provides services for individuals requiring special
education, where the personnel are exclusively trained, and
where special educational programs are implemented.
School for Drivers: They are the private institutions which
train candidates, instruct them in traffic and give them
certificates when they pass the written exam.
Student Center for Self-study: They are the private
educational institutions which help students with their
studies, homework, projects and which offer various
activities in line with their interests, expectations and
abilities.
Center for Special Education and Rehabilitation: They
are the private educational institutions which function with
the goal of eliminating problems resulting from difficulties in
speaking and language development, voice defects,
mental, physical, auditory, social, emotional deficiencies or
behavioral disorders, taking their abilities to upper levels
again, improving their self-care and independent living
skills and ensuring their adaptation into the society.
4. Classifications
ISCED 2011 (International Standard Classification of
Education) and Statistical Regions (SR) are used for
classification.
