Class Treaty by Sophie
In S6 we have a class treaty. We had some
ideas to make our class better. We all agreed
to follow the class treaty and signed our
names. We got the idea from the Treaty of
Waitangi. Some of the things we came up with
are -
. Respect people and their property
. Stand up for ourselves and others
. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes
. Be kind to the environment.
When we made it the steps were – as a class
we chose 19 ideas that we thought could
make our class better. Next we all wrote what
we thought they all meant and discussed it
with a buddy. We then agreed to follow it and
signed our names.
Chromebooks by Aidan
This year we got some new chrome books.
Each class got nine and S6 got ten. There were
fifty five chrome books.
We (S6) had to set up every one!
To set one up it took between thirty
minutes and one hour. The good parts about
chrome books are they are light
and easy to store. They also have lots of
charge.
Buddy Reading by Sophie
On Thursday we have buddy reading with M3.
We either go down to the middles or they
come to our class. We choose our buddy and
some books to read the we find a place to sit
and read. Sometimes we share work we've
done and how to use stuff on the computers.
Next term we will be teaching them other
things.
