Chilly. Blustery. Snowing. The weather this year during<br />
Easter was certainly not what we would have ordered. However,<br />
ask any DiscoveryLand worker about Easter and their eyes will<br />
light up and their faces break into a huge grin. Why?<br />
It was Salvation Weekend in DiscoveryLand where the message of<br />
Jesus Christ, His life, death and resurrection was the focal point.<br />

children asked Jesus to be their “Forever<br />
Friend” for the very first time over Easter<br />
weekend – 62 of them were in Preschool!<br />
It was a very exciting time! To quote a parent of one of the<br />
DiscoveryLand children, “I remember my son coming back from<br />
Preschool during the Easter week and telling me all about Easter<br />
and how the Easter bunny hides Easter eggs. Praise God … by<br />
the time he came out of DiscoveryLand on Easter Sunday he was<br />
telling me a different story without asking. He told me about how<br />
Jesus died on the cross for us all. And he said, ‘That’s what Easter<br />
is all about.’ That did put a big smile on my face for sure.” •<br />
Why don’t you take a moment to thank God for each<br />
of these precious lives, asking Him to continue His<br />
incredible work in each one?<br />
