This is aided and due to many years of capturing a comprehensive database whist keeping an intrinsic kPi system of all personnel supplied within our systems. We have successfully supplied the construction, civil, mechanical and electrical sectors for many years, and maintained repeat business partly due to us adamantly refusing to act as a simple body shop supply service, but rather priding ourselves on the quality of labour supplied rather than quantity, therefore allowing sustainable growth. HEaLTH aND SaFETY Safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ) is at the heart of all our operations. it is easy to say, but we really do mean it and we do our utmost to live up to the ethos that all our workers should go home safe at the end of every working day. Our Managing Director has been a key advocate in proactive health and safety since the company formed. We put paramount importance on the health and safety of all OCL personnel, from those who work in the office staff to those who are out working on site. We have mature management systems in place including policy statements which set out our intentions, supported by our procedures and flow charts implementing our intentions and a full range of forms and templates covering all of our operations. We hold certifications with CHaS, ConstructionLine, Safe Contractor, RiSQS and FORS. Our SHEQ management systems have been accredited to iSO 9001, 14001 and OHSaS 18001 through aCM Cert Ltd for the past three years. We are audited on an annual basis by aCM, FORS, achilles and seek to continuously improve our systems. We have had no RiDDORs, no enforcement notices and no actions taken against the company in all the years we have been operating. We don't rest on our laurels however, we continue to be as proactive as possible in terms of: • Communicating health and safety information to our operatives through monthly bulletins and regular toolbox talks; • Being visible on site, carrying out site inspections and reporting on good practices as well as non-compliance's; • Sharing good practice with operatives and rewarding positive behaviors; • Ongoing development of all personnel to ensure we have a good cross section of experience, skills and knowledge; • Obtaining feedback from our clients as well as operatives, and taking action where it is required; • Encouraging suggestions for improvement from all personnel; • Collaborative working with our clients and other contractors to ensure we are all working towards the same common goals. We don't just see health and safety as a legal requirement - we see it is a moral obligation. We embrace health and safety as a culture within the company and is therefore at the heart of all we do. This has been evident and recognised by TFL via OCL projects and the sites worked on by OCL operatives obtaining beacon status.
