Mark your calendars now for the annual Houston<br />
Horizon Chorus Good Times Show! This<br />
year, we’ll feature music from the 60’s in our<br />
“Peace, Love and Harmony” show. The Houston<br />
Horizon Chorus is a women’s acapella chorus and a premier chapter<br />
of Sweet Adelines International and will be competing this fall at the<br />
International Competition in Las Vegas. This year, our show will be<br />
held on Saturday, June 10 th at 4 PM at the Memorial Church of Christ<br />
Family Center, 900 Echo Lane, Houston, Texas 77024. Tickets are $15<br />
for general admission and $10 for seniors and children under 12. Come<br />

NATURE PROGRAMS FOR PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN<br />
SATURDAYS IN NATURE<br />
This program is held on the second Saturday of each month at the<br />
Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. Arrive anytime between 9 and 11:30<br />
AM. The program ends at 12 noon. A guided nature walk will begin at<br />
10 AM. No reservations required. Donations are encouraged. This is<br />
a “whole family” program; parents or other adult guardians should<br />
participate with their children. Upcoming <strong>May</strong> program Rummel Creek<br />
Walk (wear water shoes; Fish printing)<br />
THE TITMOUSE CLUB<br />
The Titmouse Club is a nature program for children ages 2 ½ to 5<br />
sponsored by the Houston Audubon Docent Guild. The program is<br />
offered every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, 10 to 11 AM, from<br />
mid-September until mid-<strong>May</strong> at the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary,<br />
440 Wilchester Boulevard. Each week features a different nature theme<br />
and may include nature talks, stories, hands-on activities and walks in<br />
the woods. For more information, go to www.houstonaudubon.org and<br />
look under Audubon Docents. The cost is $5 per child per session or a<br />
5-session card can be purchased for $20. The child must be accompanied<br />
by an adult during the program. Upcoming programs include:<br />

AFTER SCHOOL NATURE EXPLORERS CLUB<br />
Nature Explorers Club is designed for school-age children (ages 6-10, K-5 th )<br />
who are interested in investigating the natural world. Each month we will<br />
explore a different ecology topic, focusing on our own native plants and<br />
animals. We will make a craft to take home, go on a nature hike, dip-net<br />
for fish and tadpoles in the ponds and get to know the plants and animals<br />
of the Bayou City! Fee/reservations are required. Reserve your child’s spot<br />
