GOOD TIMES SHOW
Mark your calendars now for the annual Houston
Horizon Chorus Good Times Show! This
year, we’ll feature music from the 60’s in our
“Peace, Love and Harmony” show. The Houston
Horizon Chorus is a women’s acapella chorus and a premier chapter
of Sweet Adelines International and will be competing this fall at the
International Competition in Las Vegas. This year, our show will be
held on Saturday, June 10 th at 4 PM at the Memorial Church of Christ
Family Center, 900 Echo Lane, Houston, Texas 77024. Tickets are $15
for general admission and $10 for seniors and children under 12. Come

NATURE PROGRAMS FOR PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN
SATURDAYS IN NATURE
This program is held on the second Saturday of each month at the
Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. Arrive anytime between 9 and 11:30
AM. The program ends at 12 noon. A guided nature walk will begin at
10 AM. No reservations required. Donations are encouraged. This is
a “whole family” program; parents or other adult guardians should
participate with their children. Upcoming May program Rummel Creek
Walk (wear water shoes; Fish printing)
THE TITMOUSE CLUB
The Titmouse Club is a nature program for children ages 2 ½ to 5
sponsored by the Houston Audubon Docent Guild. The program is
offered every Tuesday and Wednesday morning, 10 to 11 AM, from
mid-September until mid-May at the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary,
440 Wilchester Boulevard. Each week features a different nature theme
and may include nature talks, stories, hands-on activities and walks in
the woods. For more information, go to www.houstonaudubon.org and
look under Audubon Docents. The cost is $5 per child per session or a
5-session card can be purchased for $20. The child must be accompanied
by an adult during the program. Upcoming programs include:

AFTER SCHOOL NATURE EXPLORERS CLUB
Nature Explorers Club is designed for school-age children (ages 6-10, K-5 th )
who are interested in investigating the natural world. Each month we will
explore a different ecology topic, focusing on our own native plants and
animals. We will make a craft to take home, go on a nature hike, dip-net
for fish and tadpoles in the ponds and get to know the plants and animals
of the Bayou City! Fee/reservations are required. Reserve your child’s spot
