FOGS (Friends of <strong>Gillingham</strong> Station) surprised rail users<br />
with Easter biscuits and Easter Eggs on Easter Saturday<br />
morning, in addition to decorating the station with daffodils<br />
and banners. Whilst waiting for trains, FOGS members<br />
took the opportunity to talk to people about the<br />
improvements that have been made and to listen to<br />
comments and ideas for further improvements. A clock was<br />
installed in the Booking Hall during the morning, following advice from some younger rail users.<br />
The ‘Fat Controller’ was also on hand to help out and talk to everyone. It was a fun and informative<br />
morning and FOGS members hope to put on similar events throughout the year.<br />
