HARPOLE F.C CLUB HISTORY
For this 2016/17 season we took on the very respectable name in
Harpole FC to represent this prestigious club in the NENE Sunday
league. Having had 2 very successful previous years, we have
finished 3 rd this year and congratulate Queens Park on winning the
league.
We represented Northampton in the FA Sunday Cup and were
knocked out to previous winners and this was a great experience
we want to repeat. Unfortunately there have been many injuries
and absentees this season, which took its toll on the club and having
gone through a bad patch and having seen other clubs claim the
success we had before, our commitment and desire is to get back to
our winning ways
Today you will see a team that play for each other, who play the
game in the manner it should be played and go to the end. The team
spirit is back to its best and we are focussed on ending the season
on a high and taking this straight into next season.
Special thanks to Chris Winters, we are grateful for all you do for
the team.

HARPOLE F.C CUP FINAL SQUAD
Earl Sanderson Excellent addition to the squad this year, very good
shot stopper and an important player for the team. Settled in very
quickly between the sticks for us.
Joe Lewington An excellent season for Joe this year, had to be a
leader at the back what with an often-makeshift defence, a quality
player that gets us going from the back.
Jason Lee A very good influence on the team, organises and keeps
things simple, a very good all round squad player.
Olly Anderson Versatile players that has played in most positions
this year. He keeps things neat and tidy and is another good
addition to the squad.

Jimmy Marks Battles hard, always puts his body on the line in
games, a tough tackling midfielder with good knowledge of the
game.
Ash Ogdan A player that likes to cover ground and make himself
available to receive the ball, quick feet and excellent at creating and
finding space.
Andrew Hall Very direct player, loves to attack a full back and has a
very good eye for goal. Works tirelessly all game, strong and
energetic.
Ryan Brown A player that loves to play the game, dangerous in the
air and he’ll run you down all game, a great addition to the squad,
has popped in some quality goals.

Samuel Lavelle Very strong and physical player, typically old
fashioned when it comes to a clean fair tackle. Rocket of a boot and
good eye for goal. Always seems to be where you need him to be.
Tommy Eden Waldock Another direct player with lots of pace,
energy, quick feet and hungry for goals.
Always one of the top performers for us Ian Waldock Captain*
leads by example for 90mins. A very good player who dictates the
game from the middle of the park.
Michael Betts Can play a host of positions which makes him
valuable to the team, very quick and clever player, can turn defence
into attack very quickly.
Henry Spears Another versatile player for the team, strong quick
and dependable. Good understanding of the game.

Keeps things simple Shaun Wilkes Lightning paced winger, strong
in the air, brave in the tackle.
Another direct player that loves to make runs Greg Ling Clever
player with a very good passing ability, dangerous in the air and is a
quality player for the team.
Luke Tolworthy Tricky winger that likes to attack, can also defend
very well, loves to move and play the game how it should be played.
Craig Lee Reads the game well, has excellent vision for a pass and is
very dangerous in the air in front of goal, experienced player who is
a pleasure to watch, movement strength and the ability to finish
makes him a dangerous substitute to bring on.
